Stanley Bailey No. 5 1/2 Smooth Bottom Sweetheart User Wood Plane – Type 10?

Restored this plane to user level. Cleaned it Up, Did some Repainting, Now an exceptional User and possible collector, definitely a good looking plane and nice heavy smoother.

The Tote handle had a crack and now repaired and is solid. Has the low knob in good shape. It does have a little play in the lateral iron lever. It does have two Patent Dates: Mar-25-02 & Aug-19-02. Has the Sweetheart Iron.
Looks to be a Type 10 (1907-1909) Based on WoodAndShop Dating App. – So could be considered an antique plane.

It’s a great rescued reconditioned user plane.
